I quit my job for the third time in my career back in June. My desire had become so strong to help impact women's career growth and their earning potential.

What I noticed was that money conversations with fellow women were happening behind closed doors (including me).

  • Negotiating a salary? Call with my mentor.
  • Having a financial plan for a career break? Nope.
  • Sharing how I was investing anything? Socially awkward.

I knew I couldn't change the system. However, I could share my learnings and support women on their financial journey.

Reason #1: I want to normalise the money conversation amongst women

When money conversations happen behind closed doors, shame has arrived. Siloes stay, and growth doesn't happen.

Reason #2: I want women to have a plan for their life events and goals

Women have multiple life events unique to them that require funds (e.g. wage gap, fertility, motherhood, menopause, care for aging parents, long life expectancy)

Reason #3: I want women to be financially empowered

Not having the requisite funds limits us. It makes us dependent on something or someone.

I’ll be writing about women's career growth, how to make more money at work, and setting ourselves up for a strong financial future.

Join me on the journey—and let me know if you have any questions along the way!

Looking forward to sharing the learnings with each of you!
